QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent
published work. In addition to these, candidates who join
from outside the University system, shall also possess at
least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7
point scale with latter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the
Master's degree level.
Five years of experience of teaching and/or research
excluding the period spent for obtaining the research
degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship
as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to
educational innovation, design of new courses and
curricula.

QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL
Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an
equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter
grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master's degree level, in the
relevant subject from an Indian University, or, an
equivalent degree from a foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates
should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for
lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test
accredited by the UGC. However, the candidates having Ph.D.
degree in the concerned subject are exempted NET for PG
level and UG level teaching.
NOTE:
1. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of
the marks at the Master's level for the SC/ST category.
2. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of
the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed their
Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
3. B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C, D,
E & F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the
grading system is followed.
4. A relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG level from
55% to 50% for appointment as Lecturer may be provided to
the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination
conducted by UGC/CSIR only, prior to 1989, when the minimum
marks required to appear for JRF exam. were 50%.
FACULTY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
17. Professor of Applied Mathematics, Dept of Applied
Mathematics
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an
equivalent CGPA at the Master's level and Ph.D. degree in
appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences.
10 years experience out of which atleast 5 years should be
at a senior level comparable to that of a Reader in
Postgraduate teaching and / or experience in research at
the University / National level Institutions, including
experience of guiding research at Doctoral level.
DESIRABLE : Post Doctoral work in appropriate branch of
Humanities & Sciences.
18. Lecturer in Electronics Engineering, Women's Polytechnic
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
First Class Bachelor's degree in the appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology.
OR
First Class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of
teaching posts in Humanities & Sciences.
UNANI MEDICINE
19. Lecturer in Chemistry (one post), Dept of Kulliyat
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL
Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an
equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter
grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master's degree level, in the
relevant subject from an Indian University, or, an
equivalent degree from a foreign University.

20. Lecturer Hifzane-Sehat (one post), Dept of Hifzane-Sehat-

QUALIFICATION : ESSENTIAL
i) Degree/Diploma in Unani Medicine from a University
established by Law or a statutory
Board/Faculty/Examining Body of Indian Medicine of
equivalent and included in IInd Schedule of Indian
Medicine Central Council Act 1970.
ii) Teaching experience in a recognised institution for
three years for the post of Lecturer in the respective
discipline.
iii) Post-graduate qualification in the discipline from the
recognised Institution/University established by Law.
iv) Original published papers/books on the subject.
NOTE: (1) In case of those discipline in which post-
graduate education has not been started and candidates are
not available, the compensation shall be made by the
enhancement in the teaching experience as elaborated
under:-
6 years for Lecturer in the subject concerned shall be
essentially required.
(2) Teaching experience in the specific subject as a
student of M.D. will be treated as the appropriate 3 years
teaching experience.
21. Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry (one Post), Dept of Ilmul
Advia)
QUALIFICATIONS-ESSENTIAL
M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with 3 years teaching experience
in the subject and should have knowledge of Urdu.
DESIRABLE : Ph.D. in Photo-Chemistry or published work
in the subject.

Scale of Pay: Rs.16400-22400 plus allowances
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
1. A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its
equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter

2. Ph.D. or equivalent qualification.
3. Total experience of 15 years of teaching/Research in
University/Colleges and other institutions of higher
education.
DESIRABLE: Administrative experience.
23. Principal (One post), J.N. Medical College Hospital
Scale of Pay: Rs.16400-22400 plus allowances
QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL:
Should possess the recognised postgraduate Medical
qualification and other academic qualification from a
recognised institution with a minimum of ten years teaching
experience as Professor/Associate Professor/Reader in a
Medical College/Instt. out of which at least five years
should be as Professor in a Deptt. Preference for these
appointments may be given to the Heads of the Departments.

24. Professor of Medicine (Gastro-enterology) (One post), Dept
of Medicine
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
D.M.(Medical Gastroenterology)/ D.M.(Gastroenterology)/
M.D. (Medicine) or M.D. (Paediatrics) with 2 years
special training in Gastroenterology.
TEACHING /RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
As Reader/Associate Professor in Gastroenterology for
four years in a recognised Medical College /Teaching /
Institution.
DESIRABLE :
Minimum of four Research publications indexed in Index
Medicus / National Journal and one in International
Journal.
25. Professor of Oral Pathology (One Post), Dept of Oral
and Dental Pathology
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
A BDS Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent
qualification with Post-Graduate qualification (MDS) in the
subject and with 5 years teaching experience after post
graduate qualification as Reader.
NOTE : In case of non availability of suitable candidates
for Professor in Oral Pathology, Dental College, the
post may be filled up as Reader in Oral Pathology.
26. Reader in Radio-Therapy (One post), Dept of Radio-Therapy
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
M.D. (Radio-Therapy)/ M.D. (Radiology)/ M.S. (Radiology)
TEACHING /RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
As Asstt. Professor/ Lecturer in Radio-Therapy /Radiology
for five years in a recognised Medical College.

Class Master's Degree (at least 55% marks) in Sunni
Theology.
DESIRABLE :
Adequate teaching experience, competence to teach the
subject through Urdu, Hindi and English Media.
34. P.G.T. (Urdu) (One post), AMU Girls High School
Scale of Pay: Rs.6500-10500 Plus Allowances
QUALIFICATIONS-ESSENTIAL :
Atleast second class Master's Degree (50% marks and above
considered as equivalent) in the subject concerned with
University Degree/ Diploma in Teaching /Education.
35. T.G.T. (Hindi) (One post), AMU Girls High School
Scale of pay : Rs. 5500-9000 plus allowances
QUALIFICATIONS-ESSENTIAL :
1. Second Class Bachelors Degree (50% marks and above in
aggregate including elective and languages in the degree
examination considered as equivalent) with University
Degree/Diploma in Education/Teaching.
OR
Four years integrated degree Course of Regional Colleges
of Education of NCERT.
2. Competence to teach through English, Hindi and Urdu
media.
NOTE 1. Integrated graduation-cum-teachers training
qualification of Regional Colleges of Education
with atleast two Kendriya Vidyalaya subjects as
electives.
2. For those candidates who have obtained 60% and
above marks in the aggregate in B.A. or equivalent
examinations 55% marks and above in Master's
Degree examination essential qualifications of
University Degree/Diploma in Education/Teaching
shall be relaxed for a limited period. Such
candidates, if selected, will be placed on trial
basis initially for a period of two years which may
be extended only in exceptional cases by the
appointing authority for a total period not
exceeding five years from the date of initial
appointment or as required, depending on merit of
individual cases, if the candidate is not able to
acquire the teaching degree /Diploma within the
stipulated period of two years for reasons beyond
his/her control. No further extension will be
granted.
For the post of TGT (Hindi)
Applicants should have offered and passed the
Bachelor's degree from a recognised University with
Hindi subject.
36. P.G.T.(Mathematics) (One post),Ahmadi School for the Blind
Scale of Pay: Rs.6500-10500 Plus Allowances
QUALIFICATIONS-ESSENTIAL :
Atleast second class Master's Degree (50% marks and above
considered as equivalent) in the subject concerned with
University Degree/ Diploma in Teaching /Education.
OR
1. Integrated two years PG Course M.Sc. Ed. of Regional
College of Education of NCERT in Mathematics in case of
applicants for the post of PGT in Mathematics.
2. Competence to teach through Urdu, English and Hindi
media.
NOTE The candidates possessing First Class Master's
Degree as well as First Class Bachelor's Degree in
Mathematics essential qualification of University
Degree/Diploma in Education/ Teaching shall be relaxed for
a limited period. Such candidates, if selected, will be
placed on Trial Basis initially for a period of two years
which may be extended only in exceptional cases by the
appointing authority for a total period not exceeding
