Scale of pay : Rs.12000-18300 plus allowances.
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
1. Master's degree with at least 55% of the marks or its
equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
2. Five years of experience as a Lecturer in a College or a
University with experience in educational
administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or
other Institutional of Higher education.
OR
Five years of administrative experience as Assistant
Registrar or in an equivalent post.
Desirable: Sufficient experience of Development of Packages
on RDBMS viz. SYBASE, ORACLE B/ POWER BUILDER/
DESIGNER FORMS & etc.
Note: The minimum requirement of 55% marks at the Master's
level shall not be insisted upon for recruitment on the
post of Deputy Registrar/Deputy Finance Officer for the
existing incumbents who are already in the AMU system. The
minimum requirement in their case shall be at least 50%
marks at the Master's level.
3. Deputy Librarian, Maulana Azad Library
Scale of pay : Rs.12000-18300 plus allowances.
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
i. Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science
/Documentation with atleast 55% of the marks or its
equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and
a consistently good academic record;
ii. Five year's experience as an Assistant University /
College Librarian.
iii.Evidence of innovative library services, published work
and professional commitment, computerisation of Library
DESIRABLE :
M.Phil /Ph.D degree in library Science / information
Science / Documentation / Archives and manuscript-keeping,
computerisation of Library.
4. Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College
Scale of pay : Rs.12000-18300 plus allowances.
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
M.B.B.S. from a recognised Unievrsity with Postgradtae
qualifications in a Clinical subject. Experience in
Hospital Administration for atleast three years in a
supervisory capacity in a Central or State Government
Hospital preferably in a teaching Hospital.
DESIRABLE :
Degree / Diploma in Hospital Administration.
5. Archivist, Sir Syed Academy
Scale of pay : Rs.12000-18300 plus allowances.
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
1. A first or High second class M.A. Degree in History with
knowledge of Urdu
2. Dioloma in Archival Studies.
DESIRABLE :
Experience of research in Modern Indian History and Diploma
in Archives keeping or some experience of handling original
historical records.
